(1) From 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and concurrently with the exposition of the Special Session presentations, the working groups consisting of each Session Moderators, Rapporteurs and Speakers will be working on the elaboration of the Symposium conclusions, to be presented after the Closing Conference.

Technical trip organised by the General Directorate of the Natural Environment of the Regional Council of Andalusia2: Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park.

(2) The times given here are indicative only. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend the programme of the visits according to unforeseen circumstances or in the event of the number of applicants failing to reach minimum quotas. All of them will be guided visits.

EXPOSITIONS - BIOCLIMATIC HALL

During the Symposium an exposition of photographs on deserts presented by the Secretariat of the United Nations Convention on Desertification will be exhibited. The Spanish International Cooperation Agency will also show the activities developed in combating desertification, along with Grupo Tragsa, which will also display its experience both in the national and international level.

If other institutions express their intention to display their activities and according to the available room in the Hall, they will also be included. Participants will visit the exposition after at the end of the working day on Wednesday 25 of October.

*NOTE: Coffee breaks will be offered by the Organisation of the Symposium. The Welcome Cocktail and the Symposium Special Dinner will be offered by the City Council and the Regional Council of Almería respectively. Lunches will not be provided.
